What does love mean to you, and why? Have you always felt this way?

Love is Jasmine Marie Larocca.
It's been that way since November 23rd.
And I don't think it's ever going to change.

Out of all the funny things that have ever happened to you, which experience still cracks you up?

Oh, it's hard to choose just one. ;D Probably the time me and my cousin tried to bake cookies. We doubled the recipe, but forgot to double the eggs, so they came out tasting really weird. And our Aunt Susan came up and tried one before we told her that they got messed up, and she goes, "Wow, girls--I'm impressed with your choice to make whole wheat cookies! What a healthy choice!" And me and Vivienne were like, "Yeah, I know, we're good like that." Ahh. Good times.

Definitely "It's not having what you want/It's wanting what you've got" from Sheryl Crow's song "Soak Up the Sun." Pretty inspirational, eh?

What product have you felt guiltiest, or silliest, for buying?

Well, once, when my stepmother went on a diet, I bought probably about four pounds worth of Hershey's bars to stash away before she put the house on junk food lockdown. I wound up spending like 30 bucks on chocolate, and most of it went bad anyway before I could eat hardly any of it. And I got a horrible stomach ache too.

My age. I tell people, "I can't wait to audition for a Broadway play," and they say, "You're much too young for that. Wait a few years." Well, I've waited my whole life, so next chance I get, I'll see you guys in NYC!!!

Apr. 3rd, 2008 03:46 pm BY THE WAY.

That icon that I'm using? That's MY finger, right theeeere. On MY piano. Ohhhhhh, I'm famous, whaaaat now betch!

That was random.

But I thought I'd share that golden little nugget of info with my lovely readers. (WHAT readers?!)

Ahhhh..... I'm in a play. It's called "Honk!" and it's the Ugly Duckling, with music, basically. I play Ida, and I'm Ugly's mother. I'm the only one in the beginning who actually LIKES Ugly. Everyone else thinks he's too, well, UGLY. But in the end he turns into a swan, blah blah blah, generic ugly-guy-owns-you-ALL-in-the-end sorta thing.

Sorta like how this massively geeky guy in our school swears he will own us all and have us on plantations by 2020.

.....

Yeah. Anyway.

I have new vids on youtube. Of me singing, naturally. I don't think I posted any links of me singing on here before, so I'll post all the links on this entry.

This is the oldest one, from about a year ago. I'm singing What I Did For Love from A Chorus Line, at my church's spring recital.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCvfaSydDYw&feature=related

This is from February, when I was in Fiddler on the Roof, my school play. I played Hodel, and I'm singing Far From the Home I Love. Kudos to Mike as my Tevye. XD Oh, and yeah, that's my microphone being a bitch about 20 seconds in. I had the curs-ed mic number five. =O
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ee3WZStyjUM&feature=related

This is me randomly singing The Phantom of the Opera, from--you guessed it--The Phantom of the Opera. It really sucks, cause I just ate, and it's in a lower key than I'm used to. Oh well. Watch anyway.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrASmguoHvI

Me randomly recording Forget About The Boy from Thoroughly Modern Millie, cause I was... BORED! I couldn't talk that day, so I was stumbling over my own words and my tape was pretty sucky. And I was like dancing around and shit cause I was hyped up on aspirin. XD Watch anyway.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2li_S7mlhEU&feature=related

So... Yeah. That's it.

Lol. Come back soon, dollies.

Love, peace, dope,

What is the one thing you're most neurotic about?

View 500 Answers

If someone has coffee... I have no need for coffee on a regular basis, but if someone around me has it... I MUST have some. Yeah, I gave up the "thou shalt not covet what is not thy own" thing a while ago. Also, when people say, "Oh, that's gay," when something seems stupid to them. SAY STUPID, or SOMETHING else, PEOPLE. I don't think people realize how awkward and just all-around pissing-off-ish that is. I suppose it's mostly because I'm gay... but it annoys me, and I usually flip on that person.

Do you have a "catch phrase" for which you are known?

Among many, "DOOSH!", "At the gay bar," "In my pants," and "That's what SHE said." The last three being used at the end of like every sentence I say; they can make ANY sentence funny. I like cheese--in my pants. See?

Oct. 29th, 2007 04:48 pm Grr. Makes me angry.

*le roar-ness* I was looking at the stats for my fanfiction on ff.net (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3688778/1/To_Finish_Whats_Begun) and I went from having like 146 views at the first chapter, down to having 9 VIEWS. At only the seventh chapter! That sucks!!!! No one is reading.

Which is why I command you all, as your lord and master, to go read my fic. And at least review the latest chapter.

XD Nah, just kidding. But I WOULD appreciate it! I wrote the seventh chapter, and it's got a big emotional scene in it, and no one has reviewed. So I don't know if I need to work on those sorts of scenes. TT-TT *weepeth*

ANYWAY, Halloween is almost here! Zomg! I'm being Orochimaru, and my costume, as always, is late in coming together. And I'm not even going to have a real obi. Just my dad's old purple karate belt. But oh well--I'm going round the block with Shannen and her fam. so that'll be fun.

And I have NO idea what's going on with the ski trip I was supposed to be going on with my church in Alabama. Apparantly Chris is trying to convince people to come along, but we don't have quite enough volunteers yet. But even if it gets canceled, I'm still spending lots of time in Alabama then.

End of rant. You may continue.

XD Later dearies,
TB

Sep. 8th, 2007 12:30 pm Motion City Soundtrack concert!

Hello, my children! I bring greetings from a world many have been to! The world...

of boredom.

But that's what we must bear with on the first weekend of the school year. Vivienne has an impossible list of chores, and Laura doesn't get off of work until 5 tonight. Maybe I'll call my pacifistyaoiist friend...

On a good--no, AWESOME--note, I may be going to a concert! It's November 9th, a Friday, at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City, 6:15. And the bands playing are: Mae, Metro Station, Anberlin, and...

MOTION CITY SOUNDTRACK!!!

Which makes me VERY happy, because they are probably my fave band ever. <3 <3 <3 If I go, which Dad gave the okay for, it would be me, Vivienne, and my sister Corinne, who would be "chaperoning." But my sis would be singing along with all the MCS songs too, probably, as we would, of course, blast all three cds on the WAY to the concert.

That is, of course, IF I get the third, newest, cd, which comes out September 18th, and is called "Even if it Kills Me."

I can't wait!!!!!!

Mm, and I hadn't heard the three other bands out before this, but I listened to a few songs by Mae and Anberlin, and I like them a lot so far.

Yaaay for band rants!

And ZOMG there's a GIANT bug on my back door. ...Is it a praying mantis, or a grasshopper? Stay tuned. *duhn duh DUHN*

Aug. 19th, 2007 02:05 pm The Good Lord and Weekends

Eating: Nuffin'
Drinking: Sweet tea
Wearing: Church clothes--black dress with all blue and white circlets overlapping each other, with a white cami.

*le sigh* This weekend was perhaps the most important in my life.

On Friday, I was watching the Naruto Hundo marathon, then after Mom and Jeff came home, we left for Georgia to visit my Uncle Eric, Aunt Lauren, and cousins Alex (10) and Edward (8). There was a bit of traffic on the way there, but I paid no mind.
We were listening to the WOW Worship Aqua CD (a cd of contemporary , and this song Indescribable came on. And it was all about how God is so good, and his love is completely agape, it's indescribable. And, I don't know how or why, but this song just pierced straight through to my heart. And I looked up at the sky, and said, "Oh, Lord," and I just started crying. It really hit me how wonderful the Lord is. I just had a moment--it was the greatest moment ever, it felt wonderful. So truly wonderful. And at that moment, I just said to myself, "Lord, this has gotta be Your will. You've done something here." And I gave my life to Him. Just at that moment, I just thought, "I'm yours." It was amazing.

But, the rest of my weekend was also really great, I went to the Georgia Aquarium, and that was really cool. Alex and Edward were behaving, so it was fun with them not nipping at each other's throats for once.

It's 2:18 on Sunday right now-- I got home from church maybe an 45 minutes, maybe an hour ago. Church was awesome.

I was really able to appreciate it, for the first time in my life. I sang Ave Maria for the congregation, and it went great; the best I've ever sang that song in my life--And I know it was God's doing. He gave me this wonderful gift, and I thank him so much for that.

We sang this REALLY pretty song, I Can Only Imagine. Rich did the solo, and all the women in the background did this little, "Ooh-ooh-ooh-ohhh, ah-ah, ah-ah" thing. It was cool.

After church, I went to Tenda Chick with Celeste, Mrs. Mosley, Mr. Mosley, Brandon (who was a pain, but I stood through it), Mom and Jeff. We got food, and set up a sleepover for Celeste and I on Tuesday night. So it should be fun. XD

Well, this weekend certainly has been an adventure, and I thank the Lord for that.

God bless,
TB

Aug. 16th, 2007 03:24 pm Dane Cook

Drinking: Nuffin'
Eating: Nuffin'
Wearing: A puppy shirt and strawberry shortcake pajamas. XDDD

Dane Cook-LOVE this guy!!! He's my fave comedian ever. I think what makes him funny is that:
1) All his skits you can relate to. I mean, look at his Burger Kings skit, or the Super Gay Crab Dream. Or Weepathon.
and 2) He says things so funny! Like, in the Heist/Monkey skit, most people would say, "Shit, this is weird!" but he says, "This is incredibly odd!" It just makes it that much funnier.

Right now I'm listening to Dude, I Just Wanna Dance. It's HILARIOUS.

My faves? Kool-Aid Man, Burger King, Monkey/Heist, and Creepy Guy at Work. "You Kick My Dog!" is great too. XD

Anyway, I have nothing else to say. XDDDD

Aug. 15th, 2007 11:02 pm RAISTLIN POKED MY BOOB!

AAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dudes, I was in church, and Raistlin (my subject of interest--XD) came up behind me, to poke my shoulder and then pretend he didn't do it, but I turned around to say something to someone, and he POKED MY BOOB!

Like, right smack dab in the middle!

It was funny! He just like stumbled back, and went, right loud and clear in the middle of the church hallway, "...Aw, shit."

I started cracking up though. I'm sure he was glad that I took it well--he probably thought I would beat the crap out of him. Any other woman in that church WOULD. But he's too cute to beat the crap out of. XDDD

Lol, the tags for this journal entry are: Raistlin, poked, boob

XDDDDDDDDDDDD *dies laughing*

P.S. The smiley I put for my mood is a JOKE, people. It's the "touched" smiley. Get it? No?

Aug. 15th, 2007 04:32 pm Shannen and ANBU

I just got off the phone from a two hour conversation with Shannen. Talking with her is great, because you would never expect the things she says to come out of her mouth! It;s just funny. She's probabaly like a 4 fott 6 13 year old girl, who people call "dwarf" or "midget," Hinata is one of her fave characters, she says, "Hi," in this tiny little, high voice when she meets a stranger. And then, you talk for half and hour, and BAM! She'll start talking Dane Cook! It's just really cool. XD

I have been told I look like I'm getting skinnier--Yay!

Lately, I've been reading a LOT of ANBU though. No, that doesn't mean checking out the cool slogans on the ANBU members' t-shirts on casual Friday, I'm talking about the group of "sporkers" on the Naruto forums. Basically, they take absolutely HORRIBLE, Mary-Sue-riddled fanfictions, and make fun of them. The best one you can read is an ANBU called What canon are you using, and why does it differ significantly from mine? It's genius, pure genius. XD

Well, time for church! See you on the flipside, lovelies!

Aug. 14th, 2007 04:35 pm AFI and Fanfiction!

Eating: Nuthin'
Drinking: Nuthin'
Reading: Nuthin'
Wearing: Nuthin'--I MEAN, a grey tanktop and red boxers.

The Killing Lights. I LOVE THIS SONG. The rest of the Decemberunderground album is awesome also, but this song is constantly on repeat on my cd player. I scream when it comes on the radio. : 3  *hums* This band is great. Usually, people either LOVE their new stuff and HATE their old stuff, or HATE their new stuff and LOVE their old stuff (that's the usual case). But I like it all! You'll watch me listen to Days of the Phoenix, 99 Red Balloons, then Love Like Winter and Miss Murder! But my music preferences are all over the place usually--You're reading the journal of a person who wants to become a professional opera singer, and listens to I am GHOST and System of a Down. XD

But, the thing I'm most excited about, is that my grandpa gave me fifty dollars this weekend (he was visiting in Birmingham, from where he usually lives in Palm Springs, to see one of his old Korean War buddies, so Tom and I made a road trip out to there to see him and grandma Taring. It was fun!). So with this fifty dollars, I can buy manga and music! Yay! And twenty dollars of it is most definitely going toward the 11th and 12th Death Notes! I'm soo excited, I've been wanting to finish this series FOREVER! Or at least since I finished the tenth one. XD I might also buy like the second one just to have to read when I feel like reading DN (or gazing at L's beautiful face...Haha!)

For anyone who's never read Death Note, I SERIOUSLY recommend it! If you're sick of all the gruesome, bloody battles with people's limbs being chopped off every direction you look, and you need a good intellectual book that makes you think, then GET DEATH NOTE.

It's about this high school, Light Yagami (sometimes known as Raito in the Japanese scanlations) who finds this notebook called a Death Note, dropped by a rogue Shinagami death god, Ryuk. Whosever name you write in the Death Note will die. Light starts using the notebook, his goal being to rid the world of evil and become the God and Master of this new world. Soon, the police catch on to all the criminals dying, and the legendary detective L seeks to find who is this killer, whom the public has dubbed "Kira." The story continues for 12 volumes, an intellectual battle of "Who's on whose side."

It's awesome. Art's by Takeshi Obata (She drew Hikaru no Go too, but her style is WAY different, and WAY more mature in this manga) and the story is by Tsugumi Ohba. Most likely, Tsugumi Ohba is a penname though. I'm pretty sure that she's Hiroshi Gamou (y'know, author of the JUMP series Tottemo! Luckyman.)

But yeah... I love it. My icon is of all different DN characters. The one who's wearing a suit and tie, with brunette hair is Light, the next one with the blank look on his face is L, the next one with the blonde hair in pigtails is Misa-Misa, the next one with the glasses and cigarette is Matt, then the one with the white hair is Near (who I DESPISE!!!!!) and the last one with the blonde hair and chocolate is Mello (who I LOVE!!!!!)

Well, till later lovelys!
